Canbank Computer Services Limited ( CCSL ), a Subsidiary of Canara Bank , was started by a consortium of banks in 1994 to provide various services to the booming financial sector. CCSL is the result of the coming together of six Indian Banks, led by Canara Bank, which holds major part of the shares. The other Banks are:

CCSL took over the RTA activities from M/s Canbank Financial Services Ltd. who had been in this business since 1992.
